Details of the Court Ruling

Sherine’s lawyer, Counselor Yasser Kantoush, announced the decision via his official Facebook page. The Cairo Economic Court issued its final verdict in case No. 533 of Year 17, declaring Sherine’s contract with Rotana fully terminated and mandating financial compensation. The ruling marks a significant win for the artist after a prolonged legal battle.

Lawyer Addresses Song Deletions

Kantoush clarified that Rotana’s removal of some of Sherine’s songs was unlawful, holding the company financially accountable. He added that Sherine voluntarily paid a penalty clause, freeing her to distribute both past and future works across all platforms without restrictions.

Full Artistic Freedom Restored

With this final verdict, Sherine Abdel Wahab regained complete control over her music. She can now re-release old hits or launch new projects on social media and streaming services, unrestricted by Rotana, paving the way for a vibrant return to her career.
