Ahmed Helmy Honored with “Hollywood for Arab Films” Award

At a ceremony held in Hollywood, Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy was honored with the “Hollywood for Arab Films” award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to Arab cinema. The award was presented to Helmy by Michael Bachom, director of the festival, and other officials, including actress Ilham Shahin, head of the jury, and screenwriter Hisham Deb, creator of the film “Di”.

A Star-Studded Celebration

The ceremony was attended by a number of Arab filmmakers living in the United States, and marked the beginning of the fourth edition of the Hollywood for Arab Films festival, which will run until April 13th. The festival is part of the celebration of Arab Heritage Month, aiming to provide a platform for Arab filmmakers and introduce Western audiences to Arab cinema.
